- Hand-tied wefts deliver excellent invisibility. The thin base blends naturally with your own hair, and no connecting lines can be seen, which works perfectly for fine hair.
- Machine wefts have prominent edges. The thick base may show through the hair, especially on thin hair, resulting in a less natural look.
Comfort & Breathability
- Hand-tied wefts are flexible and breathable. They cause little tension to the scalp and stay comfortable for long-time wear.
- Machine wefts feel stiff. Their poor air permeability may cause scalp discomfort or itchiness, and the extra weight pulls at hair roots.
Styling Performance
- Hand-tied wefts support various hairstyles, including high ponytails and updos, without exposing the weft tracks.
- Machine wefts have limitations in styling. Thick seams will be visible when making high updos or deep hair parts.
Durability & Maintenance
- Hand-tied wefts have decent service life with careful care. The lace base is delicate and prone to fraying; do not cut the weft directly.
- Machine wefts are highly sturdy and tear-resistant. They can be cut to adjust lengths without unraveling.
